Setting Skincare Routines for Wellness

May 3rd, 2021

Your skins health is intrinsically linked to your overall wellness. The skin is the body’s largest organ and it’s one of the first places that show signs of stress or underlying health problems. Unfortunately, caring for your skin is often overlooked, especially when life is busy. At Living Nature, we recommend prioritising your skincare routine as a simple way to promote self-care and wellbeing.

Skincare Routines and Wellness
Over the past year, routines have been disrupted around the world, with lockdowns and social distancing. Many have switched to working or studying from home, impacting the usual structure of everyday life. Mothers in particular are likely to be effected by this, as they are more likely to prioritise others over themselves. If you are finding it hard to relax or prioritise 'me time' this year, skincare is a great place to start.

Whether you spend three minutes or thirty minutes on your routine, skincare is one of the most literal forms of self-care. When you take the time to cleanse your skin or apply moisturiser, you are actively caring for yourself. Setting an intention to care for your skin morning and evening will promote healthy skin, and help you to feel structured and organised. To begin, let your family know your skincare routine is ‘me time’, and dedicate a few minutes each day to a simple skincare routine. Once you have created one routine, it becomes easier to set others.

Simple Skincare Routine
Here’s a simple skincare routine to nourish and revitalise your skin using clean, natural products from Living Nature.

Cleanse & Tone

We recommend our Vitalising Cleanser to gently remove impurities, without disrupting the skins natural moisture balance. Extra Hydrating Toning Gel will lock in hydration and prep your skin for your moisturiser.

Treat
If you have time, apply certified natural Active Brightening Serum in the morning and/or Advanced Renewal Night Serum in the evening. Active Brightening Serum targets uneven skin tone, and pigmentation for a more balanced complexion, while Advanced Renewal Night Serum will help to energize and renew skin cells while you sleep.

Moisturise
Finish your routine with our Nourishing Day Cream in the morning, or Nourishing Night Cream in the evening. These will keep your skin hydrated and nourished, without being too heavy.

Plus, don’t forget to minimise sun exposure and boost your skins hydration by drinking plenty of water.

Note: this skincare routine is for normal skin types. For more information about tailoring your skincare routine for your skin type, contact our Customer Solutions team at solutions@livingnature.com. xx
