Naturally Preserved

Living Nature products are naturally preserved. Many unique New Zealand ingredients have strong antimicrobial properties, and its the combination of these powerful, natural ingredients which we have used to preserve each product. The result: perfectly preserved, beautifully fragranced, certified natural products.

Product purity is ensured by the stringent hygiene protocols of our Kerikeri factory - where we control every step of product development, formulation, testing and filling. Our unique packaging is also specifically designed to protect the contents from external contamination and contact with air.

As Living Nature products contain only 100% natural ingredients, fragrances and preservatives, they have a shorter shelf life than products containing synthetic preservatives. All Living Nature skincare products display a 'best before' date, which is usually 2 years. To keep the natural plant extracts in Living Nature products effective, we recommend they are stored in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.

While our products are naturally preserved, they are well preserved. A Best Before date is different to "expiry", ie they may still be suitable for use provided they have been stored correctly. Our products demonstrate that when nature finds its balance it can maintain this balance for a very long time.
