On average, a woman using synthetic skincare will apply 168 chemicals every day. The skin is the body's largest, smartest and most responsive organ, and what goes on our skin is absorbed into our bodies. We can no longer ignore the growing evidence of the harmful cumulative effect of these chemicals on our health. Bizarrely, many of these chemicals were first developed to mimic the benefits of natural ingredients!
Living Nature believes nature has the best solutions and we're committed to providing healthy, safe skincare. We have listed all our products with the Environment Working Group's SkinDeep Cosmetic Safety Database, where a rigorous assessment of ingredient safety has confirmed the Living Nature has one of the best safety ratings of any range listed, with nearly all our products rating 1-3 (1 = safest). We are also committed to safe lipsticks and no damaging skin irritants such as SLS / SLES (Sodium Lauryl / Laureth Sulphate). Click here to view Living Nature's products.
We consider our packaging as carefully as what goes into it.
Our uniquely designed packaging combines calcium carbonate (chalk) and polypropylene, so it uses less energy and plastic to manufacture. We've taken care to produce the bottles and caps from the same material so they can be more easily recycled. They are also designed specifically to protect the contents from external contamination and contact with air.
The bottles are free from added Bisphenol-A (BPA) and Phthalates, and our paper, cartons and printing inks contain no dioxin or elemental chlorine.
Living Nature packaging also meets the highest EU environmental standards (EU standard 2002/72/EC).
