The skin is the body’s largest organ and one of the most responsive – a
true reflection of the life we lead. Many skincare products contain
ingredients that people are becoming increasingly concerned about
having a negative impact on their health.
People are looking for safer and more natural body care products but
there is a lot of confusion about what ‘natural’ actually means. Many
products labelled ‘natural’ can contain preservatives or ingredients with
health and environmental concerns.
Nature has refined beauty products for thousands of years so why
settle for synthetic counterparts?
Living Nature products work to naturally protect, nurture and enhance
the skin without adverse chemical side effects. They contain only pure
and natural ingredients many wild-harvested from remote locations.
Living Nature choose not to use synthetic preservatives such as
parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, artificial fragrances, phthlates, or
petroleum and mineral based oils.
As more and more people begin to question the ingredients in their
products and consumers search for skincare and cosmetic ranges that
are natural and safe, Living Nature leads the market by ensuring all
their products undergo rigorous scientific testing to assess their purity,
safety and efficacy.
So how can consumers know what is and isn’t a truly natural skincare
product? For the purists there are governing bodies such as
Germany’s BDIH (the Association of German Industries and Trading
Firms for pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, food supplements and
personal-hygiene products) who only certify products which have
ingredients they consider to be safe.
When looking at skincare, Living Nature encourages our customers to
look at what goes ‘into’ and ‘onto’ their body. Eating a healthy diet
with foods as close to their natural source as possible, allows your body
to grow healthy skin. What goes ‘onto’ your body should also be as
natural as possible.
Living Nature believe there are three levels of 'natural' products in the market as
shown in this diagram and encourage our customers to read all product labels and to
be aware that while some brands may list their ingredients, they may not
include the ingredients of their preservativesystem.
